Marina Fomin - Post Doctoral Fellow
"The main goal of my study is to identify and isolate hepatic
stem cells (HSC), which could be used for therapeutic purposes. HSC
are of great clinical interest because their transplantation may
offer a means of reconstituting diseased liver tissues and these
stem cells are also tempting targets for gene therapy."
