Bequests – By placing a bequest in your will you can create a legacy. Your gift will enable BSRI to continue their important work for years to come.

Charitable Trusts – This giving vehicle allows taxpayers to reduce estate taxes, eliminate capital gains, claim an income tax deduction and benefit BSRI. You can receive income during your lifetime and BSRI receives the residual of trust assets after you pass away. A planned gift benefits BSRI along with you and your loved ones.

Tribute & Memorial Gifts – Gifts of this type offer the opportunity to memorialize a special individual who has touched you during his or her life. You can also celebrate a special occasion, accomplishment or event. You can give a meaningful gift that not only expresses your wishes, but also supports BSRI’s commitment to medical research. BSRI will acknowledge your gift by sending an appropriate note to the family or friend in whose name the gift was made. The amount of your gift will not be mentioned. A separate receipt will be sent to you.

Capital Gifts – Your support of equipment, construction or renovation of laboratories will enable BSRI to become a leader in medical research.

Property – Gifts of personal property, such as real estate, life insurance, pieces of art, collectibles or rare coins are fully tax-deductible at fair market value. By leaving these gifts to BSRI you will be providing hope while making a difference.

Matching Gift Program – Numerous companies offer matching gift programs. By partnering with your employer you can double or possibly triple your gift to BSRI. Check with your Human Resources Department to see if your company participates at this level.

Endowment Funds – Serve as a permanent charitable fund. These permanent funds serve as a tribute to the outstanding work done by BSRI. Funds are invested and the proceeds used to preserve the legacy of BSRI as well as to be a catalyst for development and support of important cutting edge medical research.

Vehicles – By donating an automobile or boat to BSRI you will be making a donation to very important research programs. We will make arrangements for your used automobile or boat to be picked up with the proceeds of the sale going to BSRI.
