POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW

Blood Systems Research Institute (BSRI) (www.bsrisf.org), a University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) affiliate, is seeking motivated post-doctoral fellows. Under general direction the successful candidate will design and conduct research in the fields of immunology and virology. The successful applicant would work in the laboratory of Dr. Philip Norris to pursue viral pathogenesis and transfusion immunology research questions. Two positions are currently available, one focused on laboratory-based studies of transfusion immunology and a second requiring in-depth analysis of large datasets of cytokine networks activated in HIV infection. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.

Candidate should possess a Ph.D., M.D. or both and have a strong background in immunology or statistical analysis.
