POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW - EPIDEMIOLOGY
Epidemiology/Health Outcomes Research

Blood Systems Research Institute (BSRI) (www.bsrisf.org), a University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) affiliate, is seeking a motivated post-doctoral fellow. Under general direction the successful candidate will work in ongoing studies and analyses in the fields of epidemiology and health outcomes research with particular emphasis on infectious diseases and risk factor assessment for HIV, HCV, HBV or HTLV infections in blood donors. Interest in and knowledge of survey research methodology is necessary. Knowledge of/or research experience in infectious diseases and/or behavioral epidemiology is preferred. The candidate should also have knowledge of observational study design, methods and execution. Previous exposure to health economics or policy research is desirable. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.

Candidates should possess a PhD in Epidemiology or Health Outcomes Research or other doctoral degree in a related discipline and have a strong background in study design and statistical analysis.
